The Late Lounge was a nightclub in the Nineties.
Having been closed for the past five years Ronan and Paul decided to re-open the club as a Live Music Venue.
A lot of effort has been given to the re-design and completion of what is now Kildare's Premier Live Music Venue.
The most up to date sound and lighting has been installed to give the concert goer the newest and most intimate of venues.
the club opened its doors in May of 2008, and although still in its infancy has developed a good following and reputation within the Irish music industry.
The venue caters for all genres of music including international acts such as Alabama 3, The Hot House Flowers, Aslan, and Jerry Fish, local unsigned bands, and tribute acts like Roxanne tribute to The Police, The Red Not Chili Peppers (tribute to the Red Hot Chili Peppers) and the Australian Pearl Jam.
The late lounge is also very proud to have hosted Kila, Maria Doyle Kennedy, The Republic of Loose and Director.
Future acts to look out for in the coming months include, Cathy Davey, Codes, The Delays, Sinnerboy and
Alabama 3
.
Comedy nights started in October 2008 with Neill Delemare having the honour of the first gig and these run the
first Saturday of each month.
